THE LOMOGRAPHY POP 9 CAMERA | 35MM FILM CAMERA
Lomography’s Pop 9 camera was introduced to the market in 2002. It is a toy camera that features 9 lenses! One of my friends gave this to me when they were cleaning house, and I had to give it a try.
Besides the flash, which requires one AAA-battery to operate, this camera is totally mechanical and requires 35mm film. You can use it with or without the flash, so if you don’t have battery power, you can still use it.
As far as tech specs, the shutter speed is 1/100th of a second and it has a fixed aperture of f/11. I did a little research to see if I could find it on sale on the market today, and it is virtually impossible to find. Knowing that now, I am very fortunate I took my friend up on this little treasure.
The Photograph Results
I really wish I could tell you exactly what type of 35mm film I used for these, but I honestly do not remember (I think it was Kodak).
